What is the difference between an overhaul and a retrofit?

An overhaul consists in restoring the machine to optimal mechanical condition: disassembly, cleaning, replacement of wear parts, realignment and restoration of original geometry.
A retrofit goes further and, in addition to the mechanical overhaul, includes a modernization of the machine (hydraulics, electrics and control system) to improve reliability, safety and ease of use while extending the machine’s service life

Do you work exclusively on Wahli machines?

Wahli machines are our main specialization, particularly the W90, W91, W92 and W96 models, which we know in depth.
We have also developed recognized expertise on Lambert 109 machines and can work on other gear cutting machines upon request, depending on the type and condition of the machine

How does an overhaul or retrofit project work?

Each project begins with an assessment of the machine and your requirements. Depending on the machine’s condition and its intended use, we recommend the most suitable level of intervention (basic overhaul, complete overhaul or retrofit).
Once the project is approved, the machine is taken into our workshop, overhauled or modernized according to the selected level of intervention, then tested before being returned or delivered.

Do you offer overhauled machines for sale?

Yes. We regularly offer overhauled or fully retrofitted Wahli machines for sale.
Each machine is disassembled, inspected, adjusted and tested in our workshop before being made available, ensuring a reliable, production-ready machine.

Do you offer machines compliant with European standards?

Yes. Since 2026, we have offered overhauled and retrofitted Wahli machines that comply with European CE standards.
These machines are ready for export and installation within the European Union. CE compliance is fully integrated into the retrofit process and includes the required safety and control system measures.

How can I request a quote for an overhaul, retrofit or repair?

Simply contact us via the Contact page or by phone. After an initial discussion, we review your request and, if necessary, assess the condition of the machine in order to provide a clear and tailored offer.
Each quote is personalized according to the machine, its condition and the requested services.
